I believe corporate team building should deliver sustainable results, and not just warm feelings that fade away.

I also believe that corporate team building interventions should occur in the places where people work, because the science of behavior change tells us we can’t assume behaviors that may occur in one setting - such as a retreat house or wilderness camp - will cross over into another setting, like the office.

    For these reasons, I won’t take groups to country settings where they will climb ropes - but I will use the sciences of adult learning and behavior change to teach your team “the ropes” of creating excellence in workplace performance.

I designed and am proud to offer the Teamwork Starts With Me (TSM) Program, avaliable as a stand-alone program or as a component of the suite of organizational development tools called Growth Architecture®.

The Teamwork Starts With Me (TSM) Program

  • Specific criteria to measure successful program completion.
  • Leadership Coaching, begun at program inception, for the team leader to maximize TSM Program benefits and manage the transitional period following the team-based portion of the program.
  • Administration of five short TSM Seminars that lay out program principles in a dynamic, entertaining environment.
  • Materials for participants including workbooks, email-friendly Weekly Progress Forms, pocket cards listing simple program principles and framed certificates for successful completion.
  • Administration of a team celebration to coincide with the awarding of Certificates to successful program participants.
  • Program implementation by Dr. A. J. Schuler, a Wharton School trained Doctor of Psychology, with over eight years of experience in organizational development, change management, executive leadership and executive coaching.
